Hi, I’m Reuben Woodruff. I founded The Practice of Music after almost a decade of teaching musicianship across multiple disciplines and settings.

After culminating many formative years of multi-disciplinary musical experience and instruction in a degree in Music Composition from Cornish College of the Arts, I’ve helped hundreds of musicians develop and deepen their own personal Practice of Music.

From public classrooms to after-school groups to private one-on-one lessons, my instruction has consistently resulted in successful and satisfying musical experiences and development, and I’m excited to share it with you and your community.
